If you like computers, architecture or engineering, and have an acute attention to detail, this may be the career path for you. In this career you could prepare basic drawings, or finish them, while assisting the project engineers.  

Through Delta's program, you'll learn on state-of-the-art technology with amazing faculty that have years of experience in the field. When you get that degree, you'll be ready to enter the workforce. 

As a computer aided designer and drafter, you will make detailed computer drawings of products and machinery from sketches and specifications conceived by engineers and designers. The finished drawings are used as working plans for engineering and manufacturing purposes. Depending on experience and level of responsibility, duties may vary from preparing basic drawings to modifying the finished design using computer aided design equipment.
