Co-op

A co-op is a paid opportunity to gain real-world experience while you're still in school. You'll work part-time during the semester, get your foot in the door at a company, and see what it is really like to work in your field. 

• Get paid to learn on the job
• Build professional skills and confidence
• See if a career path or company is right for you
• Make connections that could lead to future employment after graduation
• Eligible students must be enrolled in 6 or more credits and have a 2.0 GPA or greater

Internship

An internship is a paid job with a local business or non-profit where you will work on real projects related to your field of study. You'll gain hands-on experience and grow your skills and resume.

• Work on projects that connect to your major
• Check out career paths and clarify your career goals
• Make connections to open doors down the road
• Internship opportunities are available every semester
• Lasts 10 to 12 weeks
• 15- 20 hours of work per week; up to 40 hours during the summer based on business's need
• Eligible students must be enrolled in 6 or more credits and have a 2.0 GPA or greater
