With three pools, there is something for everyone. The leisure pool features a slide and current channel for the kids or those who are just young at heart. For the fitness swimmer, enjoy the lap pool and diving well or just relax in the therapy pool to soothe muscle aches.

Pool activities

Lap lanes are available to those who want to swim laps or exercise in a pool environment. When there is more than one person per lane members are asked to share and circle swim. Children 13 and under must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian 18 and over. Children 6 and under must be accompanied by an adult in the water.

Please follow the guidelines below for your safety and the respect of your fellow patrons. Your cooperation is much appreciated.

Please be respectful of those using the pool, whether it is lap swimming or water exercise.

If you can share a lane safely, please do so.

Please ask, when joining another swimmer to make sure they are comfortable safely sharing a lane.  

When it is necessary to join a lane with another swimmer, please attempt to share a lane with a swimmer of similar ability/speed.

During peak times, water walkers and exercisers please allow use of the lanes for lap swimmers or share the lane.  

When sharing a lane, please either split the lane or circle swim.

We are a community pool and we ask that all our patrons be respectful and kind to each other as we share the space that we have.

Children 13 and under must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian 18 and over. Children 6 and under must be accompanied by an adult in the water. Participants must be 48 inches tall to use the slide. Appropriate swim attire required—swimsuit with liner. Sports shorts are not allowed.

The zero depth entry and toy area will be open for children to play in. The zero depth entry and toy area will be closed during swim lessons. The dive tank is available for adult deep water exercise and swimming during the times below. Children 13 and under must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian 18 and over. Children 6 and under must be accompanied by an adult in the water. Children 13 and under must be able to pass a swim test to utilize the dive tank.

Swimming lessons

Adult classes

Class covers 35 minutes of aerobic activity, 15 minutes of strength training and 10 minutes of flexibility. Due to the buoyancy of the water, there is less stress placed on the joints. You do not need to know how to swim to participate.

Class is held entirely in the deep end of the pool, providing a very high intensity, low impact workout. Buoyancy belts are available, but a comfort level with deep water is recommended.

This Arthritis Foundation Aquatic program is comprised of activities that help reduce pain and improve overall health. Suitable for every fitness level, the classes are held in a friendly, supportive environment that encourages social interaction among participants.

Youth classes

For children 6 months to 2 years old, with parent. Focus is on water adjustment, water entry, arm movements, underwater exploration, plus water safety for parents. Non-toilet trained children must wear a swim diaper. Parents must be in the water at all times.

Children ages 6 and up who want to learn how to swim and who want to develop their skills as a swimmer.

Swim 101
Water adjustment, buoyancy, assisted back and front floats, underwater exploration, arm strokes and personal safety. Elementary Backstroke will be introduced.                              

Swim 202
Improve coordination and endurance with crawl strokes and develop confidence. Breaststroke, sidestroke and basic turns introduced. Due to lack of instructors this class will not be running at this time.

Swim 401
Coordination and refinement of the key strokes. Butterfly, open turns and underwater skills introduced. Skill proficiency, refining strokes to swim with more ease, efficiency and power over a great distance. Due to lack of instructors this class will not be running at this time.

Make your own class, with one instructor and two to four students. Lessons consist of 45 minutes of instruction and 15 minutes of practice and recreational time. Participants should be at the same level.

If you would like semi-private lessons and do not have anyone to join you, let us know and we will try to pair you up with others wanting to do the same thing.

$130 per person for seven classes. No discount given for members.

Lesson cancellations require a minimum of six-hour notice in order to be made up, and only one make-up is allowed per session. Payment is required at the time of your first lesson.

Schedule time to receive one-on-one instruction with one of our swimming instructors. Lessons consist of 45 minutes of instruction and 15 minutes of practice and recreational time.

Fee

$35 per person for one class or $190 per person for seven classes.

Fun facts about the pool

  • The leisure pool has zero entry to 3.5 feet deep and includes a slide, current channel, bubble jets, water and spray fountains.
  • The therapy pool accommodates up to 17 people and is a constant 102 degrees.
  • The pool has four 25-yard lap lanes and a diving well with a one meter diving board.
